In recognition of her significant research achievements in the area of abelian group theory, which requires extensive mastery of diverse but interconnected areas of mathematics, particularly ring module theory and the model theory of logic. Her studies have led to setting mathematical problems such as the existence of outer automorphisms of metabelian groups with trivial center and Philip Hall’s problem concerning the existence of groups which are isomorphic to each of its non-trivial subgroups, and several others.
