In recognition of his works such as physico-chemical changes that occur during the ripening of piko and carabao mangoes, development and standardization of analytical methods and illucidation of post-harvest changes, differentiation between “macapuno” and normal coconut through amino acid composition analysis and development and standardization of analytical methods for the analysis of the constituents of food and non-food raw materials and products.
