In recognition of several researches that she has done in various aspects of obstetrics and gynecology with relevant implications for clinical practice and subsequent research notably her study of the value of endometrial biopsy in the diagnosis of uterine pathology. Most of her researches have been published both locally and internationally. Aside from her research endeavors, she has been actively involved in the development of clinical practice guidelines in the practice of obstetrics. She likewise has contributed to the development of evidence-based medicine and of gynecologic endoscopy by facilitating several workshops.
