In recognition of his long-term research initiatives which focus on Philippine economic competitiveness, the requirements for inclusive growth, and the connection between political dynasties and development. He has enriched academic research with the experience gained from assignments undertaken in various emerging economies for different agencies of the United Nations. He has built over 12 years of research, policy advisory and applied experience in international development, including almost a decade as an economist with the United Nations. Dr. Mendoza has also established an extensive policy research and publications record in top caliber economics and policy journals.
