In recognition of his researches in the economics of human resources. Prof. Alonzo’s works on shadow wages and project analysis have been directly useful in the evaluation of public sector projects. His various studies in the economics of education have helped to show the importance of learning as a basic need and to place the economic aspects of education and training in their proper perspective.
